I stand up carrying my notebook and pen with me
"Bring your laptop and lunch too" She mentions as we walk out the door.
Bring the laptop and lunch?? Ok- where am I?
I've never been in a corporate meeting where I can eat, work and converse all at the same time. And funnily enough, as I sit in the boardroom, I'm the first to be seated-everyone is taking their time, making lunch and or wrapping up something else that they need to finish up with.
It's interesting to see the difference in what "majority" consider the norm.
Frankly I like snacking while I work!
